It doesn't always feel like it, but this is the day the Lord has made and we are to rejoice in it. This means the good days and the bad days. So can you do that?
Rejoicing doesn't always mean smiles and happy all the time. It means being thankful for the day and making the best of it. To achieve this we need to put Jesus ahead of ourselves. He needs to come before our schedule, our emotions, our finances, our jobs, even our loved ones. Jesus needs to be first.
This means going to Him, spending time with Him and allowing Him to flow through you today. This happens when we pray (talk to God) and allow God to talk to us (read the Bible).
As we do this everything will start to fall into place. Even on those days when it seems like we are walking through hell on earth. On those days, if we put Jesus first, He will give us strength and help us through those ruff days.
If we put and keep Jesus front and center in our daily lives then it's easier to rejoice in the day, even when it is a crazy or even horrible day. It also works on the good days.
